For all companies, it is crucial to avoid fraud and deception. This can occur during illegal money transactions. Therefore, it is important to keep track of changes in master data. When a field is changed on the Vendor, for instance, the vendor is blocked. The change must be approved by a supervisor before postings to the account can be completed. A log containing all changes and approvals is maintained and the approval flow can minimize the risk of fraud. The solution supports blocking of G/L Accounts, Items, Customers and Vendors as well as Dimensions and Bank Accounts.

As a manager in a finance department you can ensure that no changes are completed without an approval from a supervisor with mandate to do so. Four-Eyes Approval is based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central’s unique change detection functionality where all changes can be tracked whether it is automatic or manual changes.

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF AZURE

With Azure Storage, you can store history and give non-"Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central" users access to view changes. Data can advantageously be presented in Microsoft Power BI and thus provide a better overview of changes. You can furthermore create a custom-built notification workflow with Microsoft Automate to improve notification of supervisors of changes waiting for approval.
